The yoomi bottle contains a unique warmer that is activated by pressing the orange button. This triggers the internal solution to warm the unit in just 60 seconds.
The cold feed is gently warmed as it flows through the specially designed channels on the outside of the warmer. By the time the feed reaches the teat, it is at natural breast milk temperature (32-34 deg C).
The warmer has been carefully designed to stay warm for up to one hour.
To charge your yoomi simply place the warmer in a pan of water (or steam steriliser) and boil for 25 minutes. Once charged, your warmer stays charged and is ready to use whenever you need it.
My First Impression
When either breastfeeding or formula feeding this seems like a brilliant gadget to have to enable a happy fed baby. I think this would be a good little gadget to have in your home whether to take with you when on outings or so that you don't have to trudge downstairs on midnight feeds. The yoomi really works, and because it’s rechargeable you can use it up to 100 times or until the warmer is 3 months old. I feel that this may be a little expensive for a bottle, but the benefits of it seem worth it, even if just to get a few minutes extra sleep a day it all adds up when you are a new mum, I will update this review when baby 2 is here :) (he is due 9th October).
