At The Baby show we met up with Babble bib who shown us their new style. The blue scooter! What do you think? We think it is very cute. And as far as teething baby goes he like babble bibs too. It stops him getting a sore neck and looks uber cool ;) Yay! Do you have a favourite bib?

Tomorrow I shall be attending The Baby show at the NEC Birmingham. I am highly excited and shall be bringing my growing too quick boo boo with me :)
While I was writing this blog post I had a phone call from my dad telling me he had just called an ambulance for my mum. Upon leaving my house and although she had started to make her dinner, she hadn't got to eat the bloody thing because her Diabetes took over! She can't remember any of what happened, but I can tell you all that my dad is a very strong man and when I rang him I could hear the scared in his voice.

My mum was refusing to accept anything he was trying to do to help stabilise her sugars, diabetes was in charge and was fighting him off! In my 21 years I had never known my dad to have to ring an ambulance, he has always been able to control it and get her sugars back to a reasonable standard. The fact that this has happened tonight has sent a shiver down my spine, the fact that she was on her own, the what if my dad hadn't turned up when he did. These thoughts bring me to tears.

My mum is Amazing, she is my best friend, she is my go to person, when I need someone to speak to she is there, when I need someone to listen she is there, when I need a cuddle she is there, When I need someone to tell me I am being ridiculous and to move on or 'sort myself out' (I HATE that saying) she is there. I just feel numb to this disgusting disease of which there is nothing I can do to help her. I know when her symptoms are coming on for a hypo, but even if she eats little and regularly throughout the day she is having issues at the moment. There is something wrong and not knowing and not being able to even offer any kind of advice is just horrid to me. Mum has promised me that on Monday she will be going to the doctors to see if they can notice something peculiar. I really hope they do and things can improve because my mum has been a Diabetic since she was 6 and I have never seen things be so erratic.

Although all of this has happened I have been TOLD I am still to go to The Baby Show tomorrow and that my mum shall be resting all day as this hypo has really knocked it out of her. I am very excited about going and meeting some fabulous new people and companies, but I definitely think I will be going and making a pitstop to give my mummy a cuddle first <3

As you know my previous post on my Britax Bsmart 4 Review was Britax VS The wind well now Britax is attempting this fight of mother nature again, this time being with the rain.

Taking k to school in the morning is beginning to become a small work out, mainly due to the massive winds we seem to be getting at the moment. But while me and ky struggle to maintain feet on the floor baby j cole is snuggled lovingly in his pram secretly laughing at us!!! 

I am very impressed to how the cosy toes attaches to the hood of the pram using small toggle buttons and loops. Allowing baby to have a shield from the wind and keep all their well earned heat in. On many occasion have I seen him cuddled up in his pram warm and cosy and wished how I could climb in with him instead of being abused by mother nature lol.

A Proud Bump Blogger Moment

K my first born came home one day from a trip out with nanny and grandad, when he got in he cried and cried about not having anyone else to play with. Me and Andrew had 'the chat' and pretty soon after that my implant was taken out. We started saving and had a nice lil amount saved for baby 2 (Which British Gas immediately swiped when I had a gas leak). Woohoo!! 2 pink lines we're pregnant,  and a clear blue just to check!! It was then I decided to start a blog!! As well as looking for a pre loved pram/car ect.. as I knew I wouldn't be able to afford a brand new one.

It all escalated from there, and on an off chance that they might be able to help me I tweeted The Baby Show to see if I could do a competition only for my life to take a MASSIVE step forward. I spoke to the gorgeous Liz and I am now a Very proud The Baby shows Bump Blogger!

I went to the baby show on the Friday 20th May and Saturday 21st May I had a nosey at the lovely prams at the show but fell in love with the Britax B smart, I let it drop in conversation and was very shocked when I had a phone call from Chelle, Lizs PA telling me quickly go to the Britax stand. When I got there Liz was filming for The baby shows TV.

It was then I was told the news!!

The amazing people at Britax are SENDING ME A B-SMART PRAM AND CAR SEAT!!

This is because of me being The Baby shows Bump Blogger

  The Baby Show felt that because I represent them, baby 2 not having a new pram would not do and Britax agreed, I am very very thankful and will also be a busy girl as I will be providing one video and a blog post each month for The Baby Show blog, I feel very privileged to be working with them.

I think we have all had the umbrella pram walk lol so I was very impressed when getting showed the demo that you can also use it as just an umbrella I am looking forward to reviewing this.

This is a photo and me and Claire Byam-Cook who is a breastfeeding guru, although is very open in speaking  about it being your choice and that if bottle is your choice then it is the correct choice for you and to not let people get you down in this decision.

As with baby 2 I am going to give breastfeeding a go she has given me a lovely Floppeze to test.

Along with the Floppeze she also gave me a breast-feeding book that she had written along with a dvd, I am looking forward to having alot more information that with my first, I hope it helps me to be a successful breastfeeding mummy.
